Livu Square

Livu Square

Riga has some nice squares in the Old Town, especially in summer when they are filled with outdoor cafes. Interesting thing about these squares is that they are not very old. They appeared after the wars when the houses were bombed. But now they feel very much like the part of Old Riga. Like they always were there.

Streets Of Old Riga

Streets Of Old Riga

Not much to comment on

Old Riga

Continuing with streetlamps - there is another one - near the City Hall.

Old Riga

Streetlamp on the wall of the St.John’s church in Old Riga.

Really International Restaurant

This is fun. You can hardly find true Latvian words here. Pizza (Italian), sushi (Japanese), kaljan (Russian word for water pipe). Business lunch (English).
