A look outside our hotel window. This is some burger and BBQ restaurant near the old port of Liepāja. We didn’t go there, so I can not tell you anything about it.

The picture is taken from the window of Promenade Hotel in the Old Port of Liepāja. Not much ship movement is going on in the port. Some years ago the shore along the Trade Canal was not a very nice place, now it is really beautiful, especially at night!
Chocolate Cafe

On the main square in Liepāja there is a bookstore, and in that store there is a cafe which sells hand made chocolate. The cafe is named after the founder of Latvian sweets industry V.Ķuze.
Nice place to have a cup of hot chocolate!
Hands Of The Music

This is something like the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We have hands, stars, just names of Latvian musicians just outside the First Latvian Rock Cafe I mentioned yesterday. Looks a little bit weird to me, like some tombstones, but anyway - may be it is just my opinion.

Liepāja is known as Latvian capital of rock music. Many of Latvian musicians come from this city. This guitar is outside the First Latvian Rock Cafe - nice place to eat, drink and have fun listening to music or dancing.
