Fishing

This year midsummer day was very (VERY!) windy. Waves in the sea were really big. There was nothing much to do but still I went to walk a little bit near the sea. And then I met some seagulls fishing in the waves. At first they were kind of shy, but when hunger took over, they didn’t pay much attention to me. This is when I came in with my 300mm. :)

Parus Major (or Great Tit in English) becomes flesh eater during the winter here in Latvia. I don’t know why, but everyone feeds them with pork bacon. May be to help them to get fat to survive through the winter.
They sure don’t mind this menu!
