Blue Cornflowers

We don’t call them cornflowers in Latvian, we call them rye-flowers because they grow mostly in rye fields. Very nice and romantic flowers.

Seaside Flowers

Since I have become my own boss I am spending my summer by the sea. My day begins with running along the seashore, then swimming in the cool waters of the Baltic Sea, then working in much enjoyable environment than a loud city. And this is how it looks around here!

Swimming Bugs

Now this looks like a real vacation. +30 Celsius outside, nice cool water temperature. This is summer! Bugs are enjoying it. But not for long.

Bugs Group Photo

The bugs came more and more so we started to put them together to make a group photo. This is what came out - some 50 of them in the bowl. Nice view!

Seaside Bug

These bugs came out of nowhere and in some minutes they were all around the beach. I don’t know was it some kind of vacation for them after eating leaves off the trees or something? Next few days I will be posting more of them, so stay tuned!

Blooming Lilac

I guess lilacs are the most powerfull odor around here right now. I don’t know I just haven’t noticed them before or they just are more powerful this year. And they also look nice when several of them grows together!

Coloring The Grass

Well, I don’t know how most of the garden flowers are called, so I also don’t know how this little flower which grows in the grass. Anyone knows the name?

Beautiful Springtime

So here’s one close-up from that beautiful pear tree. Right now its blossoms are falling but apple trees are very beautiful. I just have to wait for nice weather to make good photos I am not ashamed to show here.
