OK, it is kind of hard to be frequent poster in many places, so it comes out that I am a lazy poster in all the sites. So I have decided to officially leave this place for a while as it is, and redirect you to TrekEarth - the place where I have posted pictures of Latvia and will do it in the nearest future as well.
So here it is - my photos of Latvia in TrekEarth.
And, by the way, there are many very nice photos of Latvia by other photographers. And also many photos from other places all over the world.

No, this isn’t some kind of sports team supporters chanting. We have one nice museum in Latvia about Freiherr von Muenchhausen and his unbelievable stories. One of the stories is displayed here - an evidence of a duck taking on a helpless hawk. Poor birdie!

Could Be Very Fast

OK, I know tyres are essential when you want to be in full control of your car. Especially if that car is very fast. But I don’t have any clue why this old car is equipped with such a new tyres. Is this some before-crisis thing - if you don’t have a smart reason to spend yor money, you spend it on whatever comes first.
Come back tomorrow because you will see this car from a different angle which will put even more question marks for the tyres.

Guess what! I am back! Something has changed. I have quit my job, I have been on a great vacation. And since I am now working for myself only (if not mentioning my customers, of course), I will have more time to work on this blog.
So starting from now here will be a lot of new pictures from Latvia again. Let’s restart the thing with my personal best winter photo from Vidzeme stony beach. Enjoy!

This is a lamprey catching site near the town of Salacgrīva. Lampreys here are very tasty, quite expensive fish, but not everyone likes it because they somehow think of eating snakes…

One Year!

Haven’t posted here for a while. Sorry, I was on vacation.
Today is the one year anniversary of this blog. So I am posting the picture from the first day. And also this picture is the best from my collection. I hope I will make a few better soon.
I know I have been a lazy poster sometimes, but I hope it will change. Here’s for the next year of photo-latvia.com:
- I will post at least 25 pictures per month!
- There will not be longer vacation period than three days in a row!
What else is needed for this blog to get better?
