The air tram in Sigulda takes you across the Gauja river to Turaida where stands the magnificant medieval castle I was posting about some time ago. This is a view from Krimulda palace.

In the park of Dole manor I was posting about last two posts, there is some kind of open-air museum. It has some old houses and other things connected to the Daugava river. For example, this is some kind of installation for the fishermen nets. Since I am not very informed about these kind of things, I focused on making a nice photo instead of doing the research on historical things…

The Old Port Of Liepaja

The picture is taken from the window of Promenade Hotel in the Old Port of Liepāja. Not much ship movement is going on in the port. Some years ago the shore along the Trade Canal was not a very nice place, now it is really beautiful, especially at night!
