This is a lamprey catching site near the town of Salacgrīva. Lampreys here are very tasty, quite expensive fish, but not everyone likes it because they somehow think of eating snakes…
ABOUT THE SITE
This site is a collection of my photos from Latvia. During the winter there are less updates because the weather is often terrible. But the time from May till October is very good for going out and taking photos.
Everyone may use my photos for non-commercial purposes. But don't forget to mention where they come from!

I love lampreys, they taste yummy. And they don’t make me think of eating snakes at all, nothing to do. For those who haven’t tried yet, believe me, you should!
